And also, former WIRL grad student, Dr. Anna Crawford, now a Leverhulme Fellow at the University of Edinburgh received Trebek Initiative funding to join our team and has explained her work to the Nunatsiaq News and was interviewed by Canadian Geographic.

Anna and Dustin joined WIRL researchers Derek Mueller, Jérémie Bonneau , Erik Wagenaar, and Cameron Fitzpatrick along with Joseph Shoapik from Grise Fiord, plus long-time collaborator Dr. Alex Forrest from UCDavis at Milne Fiord this past July, with support from Arctic Net, Polar Shelf and NSERC.
