Congratulations to Jérémie Bonneau on his modelling study of Milne Fiord.  He ran a simulation of the ocean circulation and was able to conclude that there are different modes of circulation that switch periodically.  You can read about it in his article in the Journal of Geophysical Research – Oceans.  The image here shows the Eddy circulation mode in plan view (A) and cross section (B).  In the plan view, you can see a chain of eddies (crosses with rotation around them) reaching into the fjord from the Arctic Ocean.
